Sheryl Crow has teamed up with Annie Clark to release a new single called “Wouldn’t Want to Be Like You.” Make sure to give it a listen.
Her new album has not been released in a traditional way, rather it’s being distributed by Stem, a startup platform which streams and keeps business data for artists who are more like shareholders than clients. In the early days of being Sheryl Crow, she often thought being on stage with Michael Jackson as a member of his backup band was the pinnacle of her career; then a ton of her songs went on to sell millions of copies as a solo artist, so she re-thought her goals just a bit.
Sheryl will be part of the upcoming Bridge School Benefit Concert this October at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. She’ll be joined by Neil Young and his ex-wife Pegi.
