It’s hard to believe that Prince has been gone for over two years (his anniversary of death April 21st, 2018) but his music will live on forever, and the most recent example of that is the new that his estate is coming out with a new Prince LP ‘Piano & a Microphone 1983, ‘a 9-song album that will include a never been heard before home studio cassette recording of Prince at his piano from 1983.
‘Piano & a Microphone 1983,’ will include the songs “Mary Don’t You Weep,” “17 Days” “Sign O’ the Times” “Strange Relationship” and an early version of the classic tune “Purple Rain.” Prince also delivers his version of “A Case of You” a Joni Mitchell tune, and jam “International Lover,” found on the 1999 album.
‘Piano & a Microphone 1983,’ will be available mid-September on digital and streaming platforms, LP, CD, and deluxe CD and LP
