As we’ve seen much of the 2018 NBA playoffs, home court advantage has been huge. This is the case in the NBA Finals as the Warriors have started the series 2-0 on the backs of their home environment, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry of course.
Curry has really led the way for Golden State, scoring 33 points in game two last night. He also tacked on 7 rebounds and 8 assists in the 122-103 win. Kevin Durant also had himself a full game, scoring 26 points while adding 9 rebounds and 7 assists. It’s tough to beat them when these two are generating production like that.
The Cavs played pretty well but every time they attempted a comeback it seemed like Curry would make a three-pointer. LeBron James nearly recorded a triple-double, scoring 29 points to go along with 9 rebounds and 13 assists. Kevin Love had a nice game generating 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Game three will be taking place Wednesday in Cleveland. We’ll see if home court really does play a factor in this series as much as it has in others.
