There are many ways to celebrate the success of a music career; for rockers it’s the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, for deserving country singers and bands it could be the Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame, while others from all genres the ultimate recognition might be the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York City.
We’re pleased to announce that Alan Jackson, John Mellencamp, and Bill Anderson will be inducted in the Songwriters Hall of Fame in June. This is the ultimate star moment for country stars for one simple reason; those in the Songwriters Hall of Fame are the best from every music genre. Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon, Mick Jagger, and even Paul McCartney are in this museum, so the honor for Alan Jackson, John Mellencamp, and Bill Anderson is significant. Alan will also be honored in later in the yea r wiht the ‘Cliffie Stone Icon Award’ given at the ACM Honors in Nashville’s Roman Auditorium.
