Chic’s Nile Rodgers to be Honored at ‘Celebration of Legends’

The National Museum of African American Music is about to celebrate its fifth Annual Celebration of Legends, and Chic’s founder and lead singer Nile Rodgers will be honored. The additional dignitaries Yolanda Adams, Keb’ Mo’ Charlie Wilson, and Mona Scott-Young will also be honored. The celebration will take place in Nashville on May 31st, 2018.

The ‘Celebration of Legends’ is intended to recognize those that represent that represents a pioneer sense of accomplishment in the space, providing a blueprint for success in their personal and professional lives. Keb’ Mo,’ Charlie Wilson, Mona Scott-Young, Yolanda Adams, and Nile Rodgers are this years ‘Celebration of Legends’ and will be present with the museum’s Rhapsody & Rhythm Award, at the War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville May 31st.
