Burton’s car was totaled after being hit by another vehicle that ran a red light. Yes, he was wearing his seatbelt, telling arriving officers that he’d be six feet under had he not clicked his seat belt. He’s written on his social brands that he’s recovering from a concussion, a few cuts, and bruises, but remains optimistic about a full recovery.
Burton is a rabid NHL Winnipeg Jets hockey fan and had been signed to sing the Canadian and American national anthems at the Jets home games in the past keeping him in the people’s eye.
