By now we know that the highest grossing open for any movie ever made is the recent ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ earing nearly $260 million in the opening act, pushing ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ to the side, and now grossing over $1 billion (with a B) thus far in total box office take. ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chadwick Boseman, Chris Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Zoe Saldana, and Chris Pratt, so it makes sense that the movie had a chance to leverage its star power to break all kinds of records.
