In a world where everything is news, Members of the popular 90s boy bands ‘NSync and the Backstreet Boys have agreed to participate in an upcoming documentary about Lou Pearlman, the one-time manager and convicted felon who died in prison a few years ago.
The film, currently being filmed under the working title ‘The Lou Pearlman Project’ is scheduled to appear on the premiere YouTube Red channel sometime in 2018. Social film will contain rare interviews with members of ‘NSync’, members of the Backstreet Boys,’ and Justin Timberlake’s mother.
Lou Pearlman was sentenced to 25 years in prison after being convicted in a $300 million Ponzi scheme. There were allegations of molestation that were never proven, but Lou’s life was clearly in a death spiral, leading to his imprisonment and eventual death in prison in 2016 at the age of 62. Look for the YouTube Red channel ‘The Lou Pearlman Project’ later this year.
