Dr. Michael Shulenberg, the doctor who prescribed Prince oxycodone to Prince prior to his death, has agreed to pay a hefty $30,000 fine for prescribing the painkiller in rather than face criminal charges in the singer’s death.
If you’re a big Prince fan you’ll be pleased to hear that Prince’s memoir is set to be published this year in time for Christmas shopping. Prince had ironed out a deal just a few weeks before he died April 21st, and his estate is committed to finishing the deal. The memoir will contain over 50 handwritten manuscript pages, as well as never been seen before photos and additional personal items.
Prince died at the age of 57, his lifeless body found Paisley Park on April 21st. A week later, the official cause of death was ruled to be an overdose of fentanyl.
