Route 91 Harvest Victims Honored at Vegas Hockey Game

If you’ve ever been to a Nashville Predator professional hockey game, you know that country music fans can be great sports fans; now the Las Vegas Knights, a member of the National Hockey League, has retired the #58 to honor the fallen country music fans from the horrific Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting from October 1st, 2017

In typical class for professional sports team the victims and first responders with a ceremonial moment at center ice, a dropping of the puck, followed by a moment of silence. The night proved to be emotional as well, as the Knights earned a victory with a 3/2 win over the San Jose Sharks.

Sadly, it’s been 6 months a few days since the tragedy, and police are no closer to understanding the motive behind the shooting, leaving 58 dead, injuring hundreds.
