American Idol star Ruben Studdard has often been compared to the soulful Luther Vandross, so it makes perfect sense for him to honor the comparison with a new album called ‘Ruben Sings Luther’ due to be released in a few weeks. The songs “Love Won’t Let Me Wait,” “Here and Now,” “Always and Forever,” and “A House Is Not a Home” are on the LP.
Ruben crashed onto the scene as the winner of the second Season of the American Idol, and has earned a Grammy, BET, American Music, Soul Train and Teen Choice nomination, winning an Image award in 2004.
