The President Calls Roseanne, It’s A Ratings Lovefest

The biggest surprise of the season is the apparent success of the return of one of the most interesting sitcoms in decades, ‘Roseanne.’ The reboot of the popular show “Roseanne” delivered an amazing, and extremely high overall rating of 5.1 rating in adults 18-49, better than the reboot of “Will & Grace or the “Big Bang Theory.” Think about this; the show has been off the air for 20 years, yet returns with massive ratings?! That’s amazing!

Okay, let’s unpack the mystery. The show’s star and creator have been promoted and marketed as an unapologetic Trump supporter, flying against the winds of a liberal Hollywood. Some would argue that the Roseanne formula, the struggles, and aspirations of the middle working class, has laid the groundwork for the current Presidential success. The President actually called Roseanne to give her the props, praising her success and high ratings.

Roseanne lives in Hawaii these days, a small business owner of a macadamia far, sayings really hasn’t changed that much from the 90s. Roseanne the reboot was originally signed for a small number of episodes; now lets’ see how this plays out.
