Foghat is Still Rocking, Still Touring

The songs “Fool for the City,” “Slow Ride,” and “I Just Wanna Make Love To You” are classic Foghat tunes from the 70s. It’s hard to believe that this ‘rocking good time’ group is still together and touring, isn’t it?! It’s true, and Foghat is better than ever, releasing their brief 2018 tour details.

Formed in London in the early 70s, Foghat changed rock and roll with the introduction of the ‘slide guitar’ in most of their songs, a characteristic of rock that had not been heard before; credit Rod Price the lead slid/guitarist for this innovation. Sadly, two of the original members Dave Peverett and Rod Price have passed, but the band is still worth a concert ticket. Here are their initial North American 2018 dates…

February 23rd, Sahuarita, AZ
February 24th, Indio, CA (with Lou Gramm)
March 9th, Milton, FL
March 10th, New Port Richey, FL
March 16th, St. Charles, IL (with Savoy Brown)
April 6th and April 7th, Orlando, FL
April 21st, Jackson, CA
July 21st, Pendleton, OR
