This year’s MLB Hall of Fame class has been announced and it’s stacked with stars! There were four players announced yesterday as new members of the 2018 Hall of Fame class and we think you’re going to be amazed by them.
Vlad Guerrero was one of the best hitters of all time and not only that he did a lot of that hitting the worst pitches! Add that to him having one of the best arms from an outfielder and it’s a no-brainer that he’s making the Hall of Fame.
Chipper Jones was not only an amazing third baseman but he was one that was a switch hitter. Braves fans loved him for years and years, as he was their top pick in the 90s and never stopped amazing them.
Trevor Hoffman was a closer for the Padres and did so amazingly. He recorded over 600 saves during his time in baseball and did it really with just two pitches, the fastball and change up!
Finally, Jim Thome was a star for the Cleveland Indians (among other teams) that has been recognized this year as one of the best. He did a lot for the city and is to this day loved by them a great deal. He would also play for the White Sox, Orioles, Dodgers, Phillies, and Twins in his career.
