Holiday Weekend Hollywood Box Office Results

Given that Monday was a national holiday; here are the updated Box Office results from Hollywood these past 4 days…

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle had a wonderful weekend, pulling in an estimated $34 million in full exposure, and nearly $300 million since its release, while Steven Spielberg’s ‘The Post’ came in second, with an estimated $22 million for the weekend.

Liam Neeson’s The Commuter had a terrific weekend, earning over $16 million while the film Insidious: The Last Key followed with an estimated $14 million for the weekend. The Greatest Showman rounds out the top five of weekend draws. Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Paddington 2, Proud Mary, Pitch Perfect 3, and Darkest Hour follow the list.

Hollywood is all about bankable stars, and it’s evident movie fans love the Rock (Jumanji) Liam Neeson (The Commuter) and Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep (The Post).
