Helen Mirren is one of Brittan’s greatest treasures, performing for over 50 years in film and on stage. Helen was a nominee in last night’s Golden Globe celebration, nominated for an award for her role in the film ‘The Leisure Seeker.’ Helen is Shakespearian trained, beginning her incredible career as a young woman in 1967 with the Shakespeare Company.
Helen is so rare that’s she’s one of only a handful of actors to have earned an Oscar and British Academy award (from the 2013 movie The Queen) an Oliver award, Critic’s Choice, Golden Globe, SAG, and Tony awards.
Helen has starred in the movies Calendar Girls, Trumbo, The Last Station, Hitchcock, and the popular Red films opposite Bruce Willis and John Malkovich. The film Berlin, I Love You has already been finished, due in mid-2018, and she’s also currently filming two movies; Anna and The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, also scheduled to be released in 2018.
One interesting personal note regarding Helen is that early in her career she once lived with legendary actor Liam Nesson who was instrumental in finding her an agent. The rest they say is history.
