Sugarland has been away from the charts for nearly six years, but we know they are headed back to the spotlight in 2018, as they recently announced an interest in an upcoming 2018 tour; the details have not yet been released.
The two decided to take a break in 2013 but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been listening to their music. Let’s talk about our three favorite songs from this wonderful duo…
“Life in a Northern Town” featuring Jake Owen and Little Big Town is our absolute favorite for a few reasons; the song was a cover from an obscure UK group called the Dream Academy, and lots of fun to hear live. The song shows off Sugarland’s hip factor.
“All I Want to Do” is the song that helped the band become a household name, selling over 1.4 million copies since its release in May of 2008.
“Stuck Like Glue” released in July of 2010, considered the band’s signature song and is a beautiful example of the range of Jennifer Nettles. The song was not the highest charted tune, but a fan favorite.
