It’s important for artists today to embrace social media. Many unknown singers and bands get their start from content placed on their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest pages, giving them the exposure needed for that big break.
Neil Young is using the latest tools to expand his brand, although it’s unique and quite unusual. Neil has just launched his online archive service which will contain nearly everything he’s ever recorded. Oh, and it’s free, at least until June of 2018. Think of it as a Neil Young online exhibit, where instead of paintings, you stop at an alcove and check out the music from that era.
