George Clooney the handsome star of some of your favorite movies changes diapers. Yup, he’s a ‘hands-on dad,’ helping wife Amal raise their twins, Alexander and Ella.
That’s not the big news, as it’s just been revealed that George will make his return to television to star in Paramount Television’s adaptation of the best-seller ‘Catch 22,’ written by Joseph Heller. The book was turned into a movie of the same name in 1970. As it turns out, ‘Catch 22’ is one of George’s favorite books, so the decision was an easy one.
George is a two time Academy Award winner, but hasn’t been on television for over 20 years, featured in the popular 90s series ‘ER.’ Clooney will take on the role of Colonel Cathcart in this six part mini-series, with the storyline set during WWII. George was lured into the production with the promise of directing each episode, as well as starring in the project. The mini-series is in its early development stages but expected to be completed in late 2018.
