Our Favorite Graham Nash Tunes

Recently Graham Nash announced the dates and locations for his 2018 tour. Thus far the count is only 10 concerts, getting underway in late February in Annapolis, MD, ending mid-March in St. Louis. Graham is one of those rare artists that are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, not once – but twice; as a member of the Hollies in 2010, and the other enshrinement as a member of CSNY in 1997. In our opinion, here are the top songs written by Graham Nash…

“Chicago/We Can Change The World” may be the best protest anti-war song ever written, penned by Graham in 1971, released from his first solo LP ‘Songs for Beginners.’ The song was inspired by the 1968 Democratic Convention and Chicago 8 protests.

“Marrakesh Express” was a song written by Graham in the last year as a member of the Hollies; the band didn’t like the tune, so he held on to it for later.

“Teach Your Children” was written by Graham when he was a member of the Hollies, but didn’t see the light of day until 1970. Jerry Garcia plays the slide guitar in this song.
