Kurt Cobain was at the top of his game when he died, leaving behind family, friends, and plenty of awards and career memorabilia. We now hear that a few personal items of Kurt’s will be auctioned off in an upcoming Julien’s Auctions event, which will include the 1992 MTV Video Music Award he earned early in his career. Up for bid will also be the cheerleader outfit worn for a 1994 Rolling Stone photo shoot.
Also included in the auction will be personal items from David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, U2, Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones. You’ll find Frank Zappa autograph music scores, a Ziggy Marley autographed guitar, and Neil Young’s tour jacket, all up for auction.
The auction is scheduled for November 4 in Los Angeles, but you can visit the site online at https://www.julienslive.com/m/ for more information.
