U2’s New Album Dropping Soon

The Irish supergroup U2 is finishing up the ‘Joshua Tree’ Tour, but there has been news outside of the tour that has kept them in the news. Bono was recently named in a business magazine as one of the most successful businessmen of our time, and U2’s label announced that their new album ‘Songs of Experience’ the bands 14th LP is dropping December 1st.

During one of U2’s first dates outside Ireland, they played a gig at the ‘Islington’s Hope and Anchor’ event to a crowd of only nine people.

Band member Bono’s real name is Paul Hewson. Bono Vox means Good Voice. U2 won a local talent show on St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland in 1978; the prize consisted of money and studio time which the boys used to get their first record label interest.

Bono and the Edge are co-owners of the Clarence Hotel in Dublin.
