The talk around the NFL these days isn’t the great action on the field but what is happening on it before the game even begins. Players have begun to kneel during the National Anthem or even just not be on the field period to show support for Colin Kaepernick who did the same thing last season.
Multiple artists have done the same thing at points during their concerts recently and it’s definitely worth talking about. These artists include Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews, and Pharrell Williams. All three of these artists did it together in Charlottesville, Virginia at the Concert for Charlottesville event. This is no surprise because of President Donald Trump’s remarks regarding football players having respect for the flag recently and what happened in Charlottesville to even prompt the benefit concert.
Much respect for these artists standing up for what they believe in and doing it in respectful and peaceful manners.
