Drake’s Run on the Billboard Hot 100 Over

Drake is a superstar and there’s no doubt about it. His run of songs that were among the hottest in music felt like forever and this week that run seems to officially be over. For the first time in 431 weeks he does not have a song on the Billboard Hot 100.

The streak began on May 23, 2009 and ends this week with none of his hits ranking on this chart. It began with “Best I Ever Had”, but since then has seen songs like “Signs”, “Work” and “Passionfruit” all find themselves on it.

Drake has quite the lead when it comes to this record as his 431 consecutive weeks on this chart is the most by 105. Lil Wayne’s 326 consecutive weeks ranks second while Rihanna and Nicki Minaj follow those two with 216 and 207 respectively.
