Do you remember the days of Total Request Live? TRL as we all knew it back then was one of our favorite shows, but unfortunately it stopped running in 2008. Carson Daly was the host and boy did we love him. The show was strictly for the top music videos of the day and yet it somehow never got old.
Why bring this up almost 10 years after it last ran? Well, MTV will be bringing back TRL! The plan is for them to have five co-hosts on it and for it to start as a one-hour show. If things go well then it could move to a longer show. A new studio is being built in preparation for the show’s return in October. What exciting news to hear that one of the most iconic shows on MTV to be coming back in just a few months!
