Looking Into This Year’s NBA Playoffs

The NBA playoffs are not that far away. Amazingly teams have basically two or so games left before the season is complete. Plenty of teams have clinched a spot in the playoffs while others have clinched a spot on the couch. The race is still going though and gives us plenty of excitement heading into the rest of this week.

The Eastern Conference is essentially locked up except for a few battles. Cleveland and Boston are battling for that number one seed while the Pacers, Bulls and Bulls are all competing for the final two spots in the playoffs. Any of the three have a chance at the seven seed while they all have a chance at being left out.

In the Western Conference things really are locked in. The Nuggets had an outside chance at making it into the playoffs, but their loss on Sunday eliminated them from contention. At the top of the standings things are locked in as well with the Warriors having a multiple game lead on the Spurs. The Clippers and Jazz will be battling it out for home court advantage in the first round as both are competing for four/five seeds.
