Darius Rucker is a proud fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks and we saw his love and passion for the school on Sunday. South Carolina went back and forth all day long to finally take down Florida and make it to the Final Four. As the clock winded down the camera panned to Darius and he was tearing up a bit! What a moment for him and the rest of the South Carolina Gamecocks nation.
If you take a look at Sports Illustrated’s Twitter account there is video evidence! This account also has video of Darius talking about how unlikely this was to happen. He recalled a conversation he had with friends where he basically said he would have never believed it.
Congrats Darius and South Carolina!
