We live in interesting times. In the good old days, if you wanted to see a band live in concert you would buy a ticket to the show as stand the entire night screaming your head off. Now, we have Skype, text, video meetings, virtual experiences and more. In that vein of futuristic thought we want to share the news that The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac are going to be putting on a 2 day music festival, together (sort of) some 3,000 miles apart.
These 2 day outdoor music festivals are taking place in both New York City at Citi Field, and Los Angeles in Dodger stadium in a yet to be finalized days in July. This will be the first time the Eagles have performed since the death of Eagles founder Glenn Frey in 2016.
Fleetwood Mac has been separated by distance, solo projects, and tours over the last few years. They collectively tried in late 2016 to record a new Fleetwood Mac LP. Due to scheduling conflicts the album has simply turned into a Buckingham/Christine McVie ‘Duet’ project with the expected release date of mid-May.
