The NCAA Tournament has arrived and it’s officially time to call off date night. Yes, that’s right. College basketball has taken over the world of sports for a few weeks and is now worthy of constant chatter.
The four number one seeds for this tournament are Villanova, Gonzaga, North Carolina and Kansas. Villanova is last year’s champion and more than deserving of this seed. They went 3-2 vs top 25 teams and beat teams by an average of almost 15 points per game.
Kansas’ resume is great to look at even though they did lose in the first game in the Big 12 tournament. They went 6-2 against top 25 teams on the season and beat opponents by over 10 points per game this season.
North Carolina was quite impressive in the ACC this season, going 14-4 before losing to Duke in the semifinals of the conference tournament. They have tons of talent on this team and should make the Final Four quite easily.
At first Gonzaga’s name makes it sound like they haven’t played anymore this season, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Gonzaga went 6-0 against top 25 teams this season! We’re excited to see what kind of damage they do this March.
