The Recording Academy has announced that they intend to honor Keith Urban for his charitable work and support for his commitment to music education, The Recording Academy is the parent group of the Grammy Awards, and it’s an honor that will be bestowed in DC in early April.

Over the weekend we remembered Joey Feek and her courageous battle with cancer, which she lost March 4th, 2016. Rory writes a blog called ‘This Life I Live,’ recently sharing pictures of their three year old daughter Indiana along with thoughts on the loss of Joey.

54 years ago this past Sunday March 5th, country superstar Patsy Cline died in a horrific plane crash near Camden, TN after refueling in Dyersburg, TN. Patsy was only 30 years old.

Good old favorite Marty Stewart announced he’s back on the road beginning March 10th. His tour is being called the ‘Way Out West’ tour.

Sad news to share that Josh Abbott’s dad died over this past weekend, days after suffering a stroke.
