Rockers and the Streets They’ve Been Honored With

Glenn Frey, who unexpectedly died in early 2016, was honored a few months ago by his hometown of Royal Oak Michigan, by having a street bear his name. In similar news, Detroit city officials held a ceremony with Stevie Wonder, celebrating a street to be named in his namesake. ‘Stevie Wonder Avenue’ just north of downtown is now a famous road, which harkens back to the Motown era and dreams of fame and fortune.
