Billboard recently release their list of top 2016 albums and as you may expect, it’s chock filled with pop and hip hop albums. Have no fear though! The list includes a few of our favorite rock albums that we know and loved from this year.
The 1975 had a huge 2016 and we see that confirmed with their album from this year making the chart. The album has quite possibly the longest title we’ve ever seen, “I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It.” This album landed at number eight on the chart.
Another rock album to make the chart was Radiohead’s “A Moon Shaped Pool.” It was a huge album for the band that has been around for what seems like forever.
For those wondering, the number one album on the chart was Beyonce’s “Formation.”
