Those Yet to Be in the Hall

The 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced the 2017 nominees, but to our chagrin there are a number of deserving artists that have yet to be voted into the hall. Tell us what you think..

Although he’s thought of as a country artist, Willie Nelson is not in the Hall. It’s impossible to come up with a sound argument for why Carole King (yes she’s in the Hall as a non-performer slot with songwriting partner Gerry Goffin) Journey, the Doobie Brothers and or the Moody Blues are not in the hall. Janet Jackson has also yet to be inducted.

The Monkees, Bon Jovi, Spinners, Mary Wells, Pat Benatar, Kool and the Gang, and the Commodores are not in the Hall of Fame. Each of these artists influenced the 70s until today. Finally, the Go Go’s, Tina Turner, REO Speedwagon, the Pointer Sisters and Diana Ross as a solo act are still outside the Hall looking in.
