Three years ago we were hit with a single in the music game that changed how we thought about one artist. That artist was Miley Cyrus and the single was “Wrecking Ball.” Very few don’t remember the song and just about everyone has seen the music video at least once. Who could forget Miley Cyrus swinging around on a wrecking ball like that?
“Wrecking Ball” was actually Miley’s first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, so we know the song holds a special place in her heart. Amazingly enough, the music video received a then record 19.3 million views on VEVO in the first 24 hours!
“Wrecking Ball” would go on to win multiple awards and we can’t really blame them for giving up the hardware to her.
