Elvis Presley died on August 16th, 1977. It’s sad that he’s gone, but not sad to be on the receiving end of his estate; the Presley net worth is nearly $300 million, the estate earned $55 million in revenues in 2015.
Elvis was born a twin losing his twin brother Jesse Garon Presley 30 minutes before his birth. Elvis recorded over 600 songs! But, he didn’t write any of them!
Elvis’ entourage was called the “Memphis Mafia,” known for wearing gold and diamond rings. Each ring had the initials “TCB” which meant they were there to “Take Care of Business.”
The King of Rock and Roll was discovered it the usual way. He simply walked into Sun Records to record “My Happiness” and “That’s When Your Heartaches Begin “for his mother, and was by the receptionist who called Sam over to hear the demos.
Elvis was at once time a truck driver working for the Crown Electric Company. We almost lost Elvis in a tornado when he was 15 years of age in Tupelo, MS. It’s suspected Elvis was prescribed over 10,000 pills the year he died.
