Don’t look now, but week one of college football is almost here. We are just a few more days away from the first college football game of the season; Hawaii vs California in Australia. The first weekend of college football doesn’t come for another week as the season officially starts September 1-3 for the majority of teams. Let’s take a look at the matchups that people have been itching at for weeks.
The biggest games of the weekend happen on Saturday as we see Houston face off against Oklahoma, Alabama against USC, UCLA play Texas A&M and Georgia against North Carolina. How can you pass up a Saturday of football with those games all in one day?
If you look past the Saturday games then you have two monster games come on Sunday and Monday. We have Texas against Notre Dame on Sunday night, while Florida State and Ole Miss face off on Labor Day, Monday. Of the entire weekend, FSU/Ole Miss has to be our favorite matchup. The Seminoles have a brand new quarterback under center, but return so many great players while Ole Miss returns their star quarterback, Chad Kelly. What a weekend it will be!
