Apple Music has been attempting to get exclusive rights to many musicians and they’ve added a big one recently. Birdman and Cash Money Records have signed a deal with Apple Music to make them exclusive to that streaming service.
Birdman made the announcement by posting a photo of him and Apple Music’s head of content, Larry Jackson, on Instagram. Jackson would then post a photo of the two of them together confirming that they would be working together as previously discussed.
According to Billboard, details surrounding the deal show that the exclusivity does not include Cash Money artists like Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.
