39 Years ago today Elvis Presley died at the incredibly young age of 42; his autopsy and cause of death would later reveal years of pharmaceutical drug abuse and addition. Elvis ultimately beat his addition with his death in his Memphis home on August 16 1977. Last year alone, the Elvis Presley estate earned over $42 million dollars.
