Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys appeared on “DWTS” in 2015 and much like the rest of the band, they are all as busy as usual. Let’s find out more about this boy-band…
The Backstreet Boys were born in the mid-90s in Orlando. Its original members, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littell, A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, and Nick Carter, created by then manager Lou Perlman. If you remember the 90s, ‘Boys 2 Men,’ ‘INSYNC,’ and ‘New Kids on the Block’ were all fighting for the same stage as the Backstreet Boys, so it’s a credit to their talents and persistence that they were able to break through the competition.
It’s also amazing that they survived their manager as Lou Perlman was eventually convicted of a Ponzi scheme that lost investors nearly $300 million dollars. Lou was convicted of committing various crimes and is serving 25 years in prison.
