A Few Grammy Hall of Fame Song Inductees

The 2016 Grammy Hall of Fame ‘Song Inductions’ were announced earlier in the year, and we’ve been showcasing a few of the songs that will be celebrated. Here are a few more that are so richly deserving of such an honor…

“Boom Boom” by John Lee Hooker from 1961 was John’s coming out party album, the song received even more attention when it took off on the charts from the Eric Burdon and the Animals cover a few years later.

“Fleetwood Mac” by Fleetwood Mac is perhaps the single best musical effort of recorded music – ever, really. The band was in total emotional upheaval during the production of the album. Lindsey found himself editing layers of instrumentation left from individual members who had singularly lain down with tracks because they couldn’t stand to be near each other. How good was this album?” Consider that the singles “Rhiannon,” “Over My Head,” “Say you Love Me,” “Monday Morning,” and “Warm Ways,” came from this LP.
