Rappers Celebrating Birthdays This Week

This week’s list of birthdays in the rap and hip-hop world is off the chart and there’s just too many to talk about. We’ll have to see if any of these people party like Fetty Wap did last week for his birthday.

Ice Cube turns 47 this week. He’s well known for his work with N.W.A. and for his recent movie career. You’ve seen him in 22 Jump Street, Ride Along, Barbershop, Boyz N the Hood, and many others. We can’t forget what he started though when he wrote “Boyz-n-the-Hood” for Easy-E way back in the day.

Kendrick Lamar hails from Compton and has done quite well for himself since he hit the scene. His album, “To Pimp a Butterfly,” won seven awards at the Grammys!

Tupac Shakur would be celebrating his 45th birthday this week if not for being shot down 20 years ago. Can you imagine if he was still around what kind of music we would be blessed with? Rest in peace Tupac.

Others celebrating birthdays this week include OT Genasis, DJ Snake, Makonnen Sheran, Luke James, and Darien Townsend.
