The Cleveland Cavaliers came into game three down two games and one of their best three players, but managed to take down the defending NBA champs by a huge margin. The Cavs won the game 120-90, finally scoring over 100 in this series.
The offense was clicking for the Cavs and so was the defense. The loss of Love to the lineup might have been a big influence on matchups and whether it affected it or not, the Warriors’ shooters looked bad. While they shot 42% from the floor, they were successfully on just over 27% of threes, their specialty. Conversely, the Cavs made 48% of their threes while shooting 53% from the floor.
Steph Curry led the Cavs with 19 points, while the Cavs were led by Lebron James’ 32 and Kyrie Irving’s 30. The series is close again, but Cleveland will need to win Friday night before we’ll think this win series.
