The Sunday Times Giving List has not released the top 300 UK celebrity donations of 2015, but they have released a top 10. There are many big name stars on the list and number one on the list is Elton John. He donated $38 million in 2015 to help fight Aids. There are plenty of other stars on the list and one is a boy band that is currently on hiatus.
One Direction is on hiatus, but before they did this they donated over $1 million to charities. This places them 10th on the list and while they’re not as high as Elton John, Coldplay, Ringo Starr, or JK Rowling, any kind of charitable donation is a good one!
