Danny Willett came from behind to win the Masters this weekend after being down starting Sunday’s round. He played extremely well over the weekend while Jordan Spieth struggled to hold his lead. With the win, Willett takes home a purse of $1.8 million!
Willett’s great round on Sunday was only possible because of Jordan Spieth and his struggles on the back nine that day. He quadruple bogied the 12th hole after going in the water twice and hitting it then into the bunker. He certainly will regret losing the way he did, but you must applaud him for how good he was over the entire tournament.
Danny Willett’s final score was -5 Sunday and overall. Spieth, Lee Westwood, J.B. Holmes, and Paul Casey would round out the top five.
