What a week it’s been for many great players in the NBA, but the Association has announced their players of the week and they are Lebron James and Klay Thompson. The two played outstanding last week and are more than deserving of this award.
Lebron James averaged a ridiculous 29 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game last week in four contests. Two of those games were triple doubles for the perennial all-star. He tallied his 42nd triple double of his career this past Saturday against the Knicks. The Cavs went 3-1 last week.
Klay Thompson didn’t put up Lebron James type numbers this past week, but who does? He did score an outrageous amount of points in his four contests last week and his team went 4-0. During that stretch, Klay averaged 32.3 points per game and added four rebounds to go along with it. He shot over 52% in three of those games.
