There are always times when you hear rumors and think “Wow, that would be shocking to hear” and we have one for you today. It was being reported this weekend that Gwen Stefani proposed to Blake Shelton and that he said yes. The rumor was that she proposed to him in a “lavish” way after some barbecue, but this is not the case. This kind of chatter was picked up by Gossip Cop and quickly dispelled.
In more positive news, Gwen Stefani notched her first number one hit album as a solo artist this week. Her album, “This is What the Truth Feels Like,” reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart. It sold an amazing 84,000 units during its debut week. One interesting fact to learn is that she is the fifth female artist to have a number one album after doing so with a group. The most recent female to join the club is Beyoncé, who was a part of Destiny’s Child. Hat tip to Billboard for that great fact.
