At this year’s Grand Prix event, you’ll see something you’ve never seen before – Taylor Swift! The 10-time Grammy winner has been confirmed to perform the day before the race, Saturday, October 22. The actual race itself will happen the next day, Sunday.
This is a bold effort by the Formula 1 race event staff, trying to gain new followers and expand their demographics for now and the future of the race. By adding Taylor Swift to the entire event, they feel they’re adding one of the best performers and singers of the past few years. The event is held in Austin, Texas. At last year’s race, Elton John performed.
If you would like to buy tickets, you’ll be able to purchase them starting April 6.
