Stevie Nicks Brings Rock Royalty to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding

Stevie Nicks added a classic-rock glow to one of pop culture’s most closely watched weddings.

The Fleetwood Mac legend performed during Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City, giving the star-filled event another major musical moment. Robin Roberts, who attended the ceremony, confirmed Nicks’ appearance on Good Morning America, though she did not say which song or songs Nicks performed.

The performance was a fitting choice for Swift, whose connection to Nicks goes back more than a decade. The two artists performed together at the 2010 Grammy Awards, and Swift has often spoken warmly about Nicks’ influence and support. Nicks also contributed the prologue poem to Swift’s 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department, further cementing their creative bond.

Swift and Kelce’s wedding drew heavy attention for both its secrecy and its scale. Although Madison Square Garden is one of the most famous arenas in the world, guests described the ceremony as personal and surprisingly intimate. The venue was transformed into an indoor garden, creating a softer setting inside the massive New York landmark.

The ceremony also included several personal touches. Adam Sandler officiated, Austin Swift served as Taylor’s man of honor, and Jason Kelce stood beside his brother as best man. The couple exchanged self-written vows, keeping the focus on family, friendship and the relationship at the center of the spectacle.

For fans, Nicks’ performance was more than a celebrity cameo. It brought together generations of songwriting power, linking Swift’s pop era with one of rock’s most enduring voices. The only mystery left is the setlist, and that detail is already giving fans plenty to wonder about.
