It looks like Ringo Starr is gearing up to release his long-discussed country album. The Beatles drummer recently posted a picture on Instagram donning a cowboy hat, sparking excitement and speculation among fans that this could be a hint for the upcoming release.
Ringo first revealed he was working on a country album back in May, later confirming that he was collaborating with legendary producer T. Bone Burnett. In an interview with USA Today, Starr mentioned that the project wouldn’t be released “until October, at least.”
This country album will follow the release of Ringo’s latest EP, Crooked Boy, which dropped in April. That EP was produced by Linda Perry, who had previously worked with Ringo on two earlier projects, contributing to songs like “Coming Undone” and “Everyone and Everything.”
With fans buzzing over the cowboy hat teaser, the countdown may be on for Ringo’s country album debut.
