Pop icon Britney Spears took to her Instagram Stories on October 15 to share admiration for several female superstars, celebrating them as her inspirations and “girl crushes.” In her heartfelt posts, the 42-year-old singer listed a few famous women she admires for their beauty, personalities, and the joy they bring her.
Celebrity Shoutouts
Britney started by praising Pamela Anderson, calling her a “classic babe” who seems “so sweet!!!” She then expressed her admiration for Natalie Portman, recalling a special moment they shared:
“She’s the coolest person I ever met… we had the same shirt on!!!” Britney wrote, reminiscing about a chance encounter in New York.
She also had high praise for Camila Cabello, whose charm and humor really struck Spears:
“She makes me giggle out loud!!! Her personality is so sweet and kooky… I wish I was more like that!!!”
Britney’s admiration didn’t stop there. She marveled at Kendall Jenner, wondering if it’s “even normal to be that pretty???”
To wrap up her list, Spears gave a special shoutout to her “literally gorgeous” friends Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore, both of whom attended her 2022 wedding to ex-husband Sam Asghari.
Reflections on Friendship
In addition to celebrating the women who inspire her, Britney reflected on how friendships change over time.
“Your other half growing up is usually your best friend… But as the years go by, some people get married and live worlds apart!!!” she shared.
Though she admitted that adult friendships feel different, she embraced it as a natural part of life, adding:
“It’s called life!!!”
While working on her upcoming novel, Britney revealed she misses being silly with her girlfriends but is also learning a lot about herself through her writing.

At the 2024 MTV VMAs, Sabrina Carpenter and Megan Thee Stallion honored Spears with nods to her legendary performances, further solidifying Britney’s influence in both music and fashion.
